Former President of the Brazilian Society of Ocular Plastic Surgery (2018-2020). He has 5 books of his authorship published on plastic surgery of the eyelids: “Manual of Conduct in Blepharoplasty”, “Periocular Aesthetics”, “Manual of Conduct in Ptosis”, “Manual of Ocular Plastic Surgery of the UFG” and “Oculoplástica e Oncologia Ocular ”(official theme book of the 2021 Brazilian Council of Ophthalmology). He is the founding editor of the scientific journal of the Brazilian Society of Ocular Plastic Surgery: “Oculoplastic Surgery Journal”. Affiliate professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), and permanent professor of the postgraduate course in Health Sciences at UFG, in addition to being a member of the committee responsible for analyzing master's and doctoral theses and dissertations.
