Our story begins with Instituto Médico Dr. João Carlos Grottone, which began its activities as a legal entity in September 1988, from a private office of its founder, João Carlos Grottone, who had already been practicing medicine since 1981. Its first name was “Integral Serviços Médicos e Auxiliares S/C Ltda”, with address at Av. Ana Costa 221, suite 21, in Santos, São Paulo.
The objective of the newly created company was to provide medical care to the patient and develop the provision of auxiliary services in the health area, such as support for ophthalmology professionals.
